We are on the Tuckasegee River a mile from downtown in the BearHunter Campground. We would be considered a tiny home cabin. Located in the Great Smoky Mountains, ask about one night stays Sunday through Wednesday. You'll feel right at home if you enjoy any of these activities, or just want to relax and enjoy the river view. If being on the river and fishing from the deck sounds like something you would enjoy, then we're sure to be a hit for the fisherman or kayaker in your life. Convenient river access nearby will make us your Fisherman's Paradise. A tiny home cabin per say has a maximum of 4 guests NO MORE, that is our policy! We are pet friendly ( dogs only) more than 1 dog with prior approval. A $50 non refundable fee per pet is due on arrival in cash. Pets must be crated when you are out and about. The bedroom has a queen size bed and the other sleeping space is a loft with headroom only. It has a full size bed mattress and is only accessible by ladder. Great for kids or young adults. A full galley kitchen is well stocked with all the pots and pans, dishes, glasses and utensils you will need.Guests have said, even though it is a small space they did not feel cramped at all. Bring your paper products, including garbage bags, dish soaps and any other necessities for cooking. There is salt & pepper and some spices but that's it. Coffee filters are provided for the regular full size coffee pot. You have access to the entire Cabin. It is located in the Bear Hunter Campground, although you're not really there for the campground. There is a grill located in the campground pavilion Or you may bring your own. I live about a mile from the Cabins and will be available for whatever your needs are. We have stocked the kitchens with most things. It is your responsibility to bring paper products, garbage bags, dish and hand soaps, shower soap and shampoo. I do not supply toiletries. However towels and sheets are free of charge. A towel hand towel, and washcloth per guest per stay. The Cabins are located in The Bear Hunter Campground on the Tuckasegee river. Be mindful you are not here for the campground, you're here for the ambiance of the river. There are campground facilities at your disposal if you choose to use them. However our cabins are privately owned and operated. Breweries are new to our area and we have several to choose from for you beer enthusiasts. We have a variety of ethnic restaurants to enjoy. Harrah's Cherokee Casino and the Cherokee Indian reservation are just 10 miles down the road. White water rafting, tubing and zip-lining in the Nantahala Gorge are a few more area attractions that we are noted for. Our local transportation is very limited. We are about a mile of downtown Bryson City and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. *The pet fee is for allowing pets to visit. It is to compensate for all the extra cleaning that is takes. It is not a damage fee. If your pet does damage because it has not been crated or watched, you will be requested to pay for the damage, since we do not charge a damage deposit. *Also since I don't charge a deposit, if something is missing, I will turn it in to AIRBNB and request payment for it. Please care for our place and things like you care for your own or better. We try hard to provide for our guests and appreciate your understanding. There is no wifi at the campground in the cabins.
