We have 3 cats sharing the house with us. They are friendly, and do not go in the guest bedrooms. If you have cat allergies please be aware. They are friendly. Bedroom fully furnished with plenty of storage, LED lamps, ceiling fan, central AC/heating - no noisy AC boxes in the room. Access to living room, dining room and kitchen. For long stays, access to laundry room. Master bathroom is shared (we use the shower). While having guests we use the half bathroom downstairs. Shampoo, shower gel, hair drier, toilet paper, towels provided. The room can be used by one person as is furnished with a twin bed. Sorry no young toddlers because the house is not child proof. We have gates that we can install on the stairs for a 3+ year old child if needed, however no other child proofing in the house. This is our home, not a place we just rent out and we will try our best to make you feel at comfortable, please be respectful of our space. We are available as needed - instant message on Airbnb. However our guest's privacy is very important to us. Very close to Syracuse University, ESF and Medical Campus: 5 min by car (1.2 miles distance if you want to walk), bus station going to SU few feet from the house door. Blocks away from the Syracuse Coop grocery store and about 20 min walk from the Wescott restaurants and Coffee Shops. Short drives to Downtown, Airport, Amphitheater, Destiny Mall about 15-20 min drive. Our guests typically use the kitchen - you have full access. There is a small but very well stocked COOP grocery in walking distance: 618 Kensington Road Syracuse, New York 13210 The local park about 5 min walk from the house has a one mile mulch trail around a pond - called Barry Park. Great for a walk, family friendly. 1.2 miles walking to SU campus, 15 min drive from airport, on the bus line to SU, downtown and Destiny Mall. Buss Station 100 feet away from our door. For guests considering longer stays who do not want to drive, we are located 5 minutes walk away from the Syracuse Coop and about 5 min walk to a Kinney Drug Store, Honeycomb bakery, Brueggers Bagels, Ace Hardware, etc. Self check in with lockbox. 5G wireless internet - password provided upon arrival.
