The family-friendly Hemlock House is tucked away in the woods of Wardsboro, VT. It's conveniently located between Mt Snow (13min) and Stratton (20min). Access to the VAST trail directly across the street! Gather everyone in the huge living space on the main floor. Enjoy a screened in porch or an open deck to take in the quite nature. It's the perfect getaway for year-round activities! Come for the skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, biking, or just to relax in the hot tub or next to the fireplace. Hemlock House resides on a wooded acre in a quiet neighborhood. It is an easy drive to multiple ski resorts as well as hiking trails, amazing biking, tons of swimming, and multiple state parks. Across the street you'll find an access trail that leads you to VAST trail 710. The main floor features an open concept with cathedral ceilings. There are new appliances in the kitchen and a breakfast bar for starting the day. You can enjoy your meals at the living edge dining table or in the dining room. The living room has multiple couches, a 50” TV combined with high speed internet for streaming, and a gas fireplace. Soak in the sights of the forest through the many oversized windows that bring tons of daylight into the house. Outside the main level, you will find a screened in porch as well as a larger deck with a grill and outdoor dining set. Enjoy the clear VT sky from the 4-person hot tub. The layout of this house is: - Downstairs (Entry Level): Mudroom, Den, 3x Twin BR, Queen BR, Full Bath, Washer/Dryer - Main floor: Master Queen BR, Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room, Full Bath - Loft: Queen/Twin BR, 2x Double BR We use a Smart Lock for access to the house. You will receive your own keycode prior to check in. During your stay you will have access to the community recreation center that has a indoor heated pool and tennis courts. There is an access card in the kitchen which gives you access to the building. Please review the community pool rules in our guidebook. We are available via text, phone, and email and happy to answer any questions! Snow Mountain Farms is a quiet neighborhood with well maintained roads in Wardsboro, VT. The neighborhood is off a main road and the roads (paved and dirt) are in good condition. During the winter, the roads are regularly plowed so getting around isn't too difficult. In winter it is recommended that you have some form of AWD/4WD/4x4, though there are no steep hills and the streets are well-maintained. Our dirt driveway has plenty of parking and is regularly plowed/sanded. If any problems arise don't hesitate to contact us. Snowmobile Trailers: If you are planning to bring a snowmobile trailer, please contact us to ensure there is space available for the trailers. We do not normally plow for trailers and would need to notify our plow company to ensure there is enough space. Security: The house is equipped with two security cameras.
