The River Street Suite is part of an ever-evolving unique riverfront property in the Manville Heights Neighborhood, currently being renovated. Located in the original 1940's cabin, the suite is a cement and steal structure that is built into the cliffside. The inside boasts a large light-filled entryway, kitchen with granite countertops and large island seating, bathroom with tiled shower and large vanity, black leather sofa and wooden coffee table facing a large TV over the original stone fireplace, and French doors lead you to the charming and light filled bedroom with River and Park Views and a comfortable queen bed! Step outside for a walk along the Iowa River, or through the Historic Manville Heights neighborhood. The Suite is only accessed through the private outdoor entryway, giving you total privacy during your stay. You are welcome to use the side driveway by the suite as well, but note that the driveway is narrow. The River Street suite is attached to our home, with a separate outdoor enterance giving you full privacy during your stay. Located off the Iowa River for beautiful River views and paved trail system access. Close to Hancher Auditorium, Kinnick Stadium, Carver Stadium, Veterans Hospital, which has a private bridge access from the neighborhood, and the University of Iowa Campuses surround us. City Park is walking distance with trails, river views, playgrounds, City Pool, and many City Activities like the weekly City Park Run/Walk/Jog at 9am on Saturdays. The neighborhood is made up of many grand and unique homes from Victorians, to mid-century modern glass houses!
