We are situated on a100 acres, in beautiful Bethel VT, just downhill from the VAST trail, close to Silver Lake-a perfect spot for outdoor enthusiasts! Enjoy endless walking trails and sweeping mountain views during your stay! High speed internet offers entertainment access and the wood burning stove is a cozy addition. This is a great place for families or remote workers looking for a peaceful getaway. The space The yard features a perennial garden with porch, several planters for vegetable gardening, and a small strawberry patch. You will love sitting on the back porch and having meals or just observing nature. On the main floor of our home, we have a living room, dining room, bathroom, and kitchen. We have a new washer/dryer. You will have access to dishes, cooking utensils, blender, toaster, etc during your stay. In the entry room we have a wood stove/fireplace, which we use as a source of heat. As guests, you will have full access to our wood pile to use for as many wood fires or outdoor bonfires as you’d like. Additionally, radiators provide heat throughout the home, and we provide a space heater for extra chilly nights. We've provided all the tools you need to cook and bake throughout your stay. Our cabinets are stocked with staples like flour, sugar, and spices. We've also included tea and coffee selections for your breakfast needs. The main floor is a great gathering space for a group of friends or families! The main floor includes a dining room, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and craft/board games in office. we provide the supplies you need for getting a fire going in the wood stove. The second floor has three bedrooms. Remote workers can work at the desk in one of the bedrooms or downstairs in the office. Both spaces have monitors. Other things to note In the winter months, we will provide snow plowing and access to salt/shovel. We also have a toddler sled and two pairs of adult snow shoes for your use! In the warmer months, we provide lawn mowing and basic landscaping maintenance. *This is a country home and we are surrounded by farms. Consequently, it is not uncommon to see a mouse here and there during the change in seasons. We have traps available as needed. Additionally, in July-September bugs are more common. The screens have recently been replaced to help with this. We recommend keeping doors closed as much as possible. If you need anything please call.
