As a multi-generation Penn State family, we want you to enjoy this unbeatable location and feel like you are truly at home here in Happy Valley. Our family home for the past 27 years, this location has all the makings for your next great Penn State weekend with family or friends. Situated on a quiet cul de sac with no thru-traffic, ample parking and all the cozy amenities you'd expect from your "home away from home," we're sure you and your group will love your stay. We consistently are making improvements to the house and have recently added central A/C and heating, hardwood floors upstairs and a brand new bathroom in the downstairs suite. Next in June 2024 is a fully renovated bath on the main upper level! The entire house is available to guests with the exception of the home office (locked during your stay). A key will be provided for guests, as well as a garage code for keyless entry. We communicate with guests on the Airbnb app for messaging. And. use cell phone as needed.. Happy Valley Golf Course Cottage is privately located within a few steps to the Penn State Golf Course and is on a quiet, peaceful street with available parking. Campus and town are just a short walk through the golf course or an easy Uber ride. Waffle Shop, Hiway Pizza, Gigi’s Southern Table are all close by to enjoy dining or takeout. There is enough room to park 2 to 3 vehicles in the driveway and one or two cars on the street in front of house. Also, there are several added spaces at the end of the street on a large culdesac. We recommend Uber to town or campus. Traveling for tailgate spots: Take West College Ave and then proceed on Beaver Ave. Next take a left on Burrowes into campus, then a right onto Curtin Rd, then a left on Allen Rd or Shortlidge to get to Park Avenue. Then a right on Park Ave to the tailgate lots/stadium. A welcome letter with basics and particular date-specific info is provided on the kitchen table to give you all the latest information for your stay..
