It's positioned across the yard, separated by the pool which is available for use during June, July, and August. The apartment features a queen sofa sleeper in the living room and a four-poster queen bed in the primary bedroom. Please note that the bathroom is accessible from the primary bedroom, so guests in the living room will need to pass through it to access the bathroom. We've provided HDTVs in both the primary and living rooms for which you will need to use your own logins, a spacious closet in the bathroom, a small dresser in the primary bedroom, and various amenities, including linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen essentials. There's also a small porch with seating, Wi-Fi, and a concierge book for your convenience. Please be aware that we have two older dogs on the property, but we cannot accommodate guest pets due to potential allergies of our other guests. Value: It's important to consider that Airbnb deducts a significant portion of your room rate, in addition to back-end charges, as well as up-charging you on the front end. Location: We are located in the Historic Downtown District of Ashland at 514 Siskiyou Blvd. The walk to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) takes about 7 minutes and Ashland has well-lit sidewalks ensure safety after evening shows. FAQ: We are conveniently located in town, and you can easily walk to nearby attractions. The pool is accessible from June through August with pool towels provided. You are welcome to use the back yard and have small parties, but they should conclude by 9 pm. Our space accommodates a maximum of 4 guests, and we do not have laundry facilities. We provide wine glasses, a fully equipped kitchen, and queen-sized beds in both the bedroom and sofa bed. While we supply pillows, feel free to bring your own if you have specific preferences. Smoking is not allowed inside the premises, and, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets. Air conditioning is available in the primary bedroom, and you can control the heat with your own thermostat. This is a 2nd floor apartment over the garage and is not attached to the main house where we live. Your room will be clean and ready whenever your party arrives after 3pm, and you can arrive any time day or night. Guests are welcome to use the pool which is open from June to August, and the yard which is shared. In terms of host communication, once you've made a booking, you will receive a Welcome Email from me. This email will provide you with our address, parking instructions, and details on how to access the room, which is available 24 hours a day. Beyond this initial communication, the level of interaction is entirely at your discretion. However, I do encourage guests to reach out if there's a specific need. The yard and pool are shared spaces, and we often interact with guests in the summer evenings. We are available should you require any assistance or have questions. Even when we're not present, the room will be fully prepared for your arrival. We work with a reliable cleaning crew who is well-informed about your schedule and can provide any items you might be needing. We also have two large dogs on the premises, and you will likely encounter and get to know them. They have their own designated area where they spend their days, so there's no need to worry about them wandering around the yard. Their names are Bella and Max. We are in the center of it all. We just walk or bike wherever we need to go. The lighted walk home from the theatre gives us just enough time to discuss how much we loved the show, dinner, movie, ice cream, bars...whatever it is we did. Walk from here, bike from here but if you want to go farther, the City bus #10 is one block away. If you want to drive, we can help you out with directions or, you have free WIFI to look things up. If you typically use a washcloth to remove makeup or mascara, I kindly request that you either bring your own washcloth for this purpose or consider using makeup remover pads. We ask that our washcloths not be used for makeup removal. It's a bit perplexing, but it appears that the makeup products nowadays contain something that no amount of SHOUT or Oxyclean can effectively remove. Additionally, it's worth noting that Ashland experiences a regular mowing and blowing of lawns every Monday. To make your stay more enjoyable, I've arranged for our gardener (who also maintains neighboring yards) to begin work after 9 am. On Tuesdays, the trash pickup can sometimes seem like an ongoing process. Furthermore, we have two older dogs, a lab, and a shepherd. They have their own designated area where they like to relax, and they are quite friendly if you ever want to enjoy some quality time with our furry companions.
