You have the whole 2 bedroom w/loft cabin in a gated community- Coosawattee River Resort- on the river. Close to downtown Ellijay. Get away from it all and enjoy a clean, beautifully decorated cabin directly on the Coosawattee River. We tried to think of everything you would need- and our guests say we succeeded! Lovely deck w/ hot tub and a deck directly on the flowing wide river- ideal for happy hour, fishing, sunning or reading! New TVs- Keurig- 3 fire pits, park playground a block away. You have an entire house to yourselves! Lockbox w/ the key- gate access to get in- easy! 3 porches- front, back (screened) and off the second story master bedroom! Steps across the yard to the river (flat terrain) for swimming, tubing, kayaking, canoeing. We provide plenty of big river floating tubes! Relax in the outdoor hot tub - right out back and cook hot dogs and s'mores over 3 different fire pits! Chill on the large screened in porch w/ plenty of seating on wicker chairs. Great for all ages! After hours- there are 4 TVs - 2 new Roku TV. VCR with 20+ VHS tapes, DVD player with over 20 movies. I am proud of the game closet I've stocked w/ dozens of popular board games, puzzles & cards! Head into downtown Ellijay for fun or go 20 minutes to Blue Ridge to enjoy fabulous restaurants and entertainment. Wineries are close by and there's always Walmart and Starbucks within 10 minutes for essentials! Stay in and cook out on the gas grill! We provide towels & linens. Lots of space in the cabin to relax in- fully equipped modern kitchen, 2 bedrooms plus a loft with 4 beds. The great room has 2 large leather sofas with 4 recliners. The propane gas fireplace is angled between them if needed! Even a group of 6 can spread out and do their own thing! 2 full baths with showers in each- one on each level. There is a bedroom on the first floor w/ only 4 steps into the house for someone unable to climb stairs easily. We aren't handicapped equipped however. Bed Wise- downstairs bedroom has a full and a twin bed. The loft has 4 twin beds (trundle style) and the Master has a large comfy King bed. Nice mattresses & linens- we have excellent dependable cleaning professionals! Kitchen has what a normal house would have- frig, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig K Cup, oven, stovetop (electric), coffee maker, blender and lots of dishes and utensils and pots and pans! It is nestled on such a cool piece of property" On a street with only 6 houses- North Park is just steps away to have more fishing or walking options- picnic tables there and wide open spaces to throw a ball or a Frisbee! You will have access to WiFi, woods, river- any of the gates in the Coosawattee River Resort to explore- there are some very cool properties and roadways to enjoy! We are happy to answer any questions at any time! We live 45 minutes away from the cabin and have rented it for 10 years so we are skilled renters and glad to help! Coosawattee River Resort is located just a few miles outside of downtown Ellijay ( close to the apple festival!- 5 miles or so) Georgia- in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. The resort is a short drive from Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Murphy, NC. The neighborhood is a 5500 + acre development comprised of more than 7000 individual lots. 12 miles of the Coosawattee River leisurely meanders through the area and ultimately flows into Carters's Lake (also a fun day trip). There is a stocked fishing pond a few miles away that guests are welcome to use. There's more than 170 miles of roadway throughout the resort- you will be transported from annoying urban congestion to nature's calmness and intrigue in mere minutes! There are pools but need our guest passes. About 20 minute drive. Cars motorcycles and ATVs - bikes aren't recommended- very very hilly and roads are narrow in spots! We provide tubes-Tubing is just a blast! Drive up to Fishtrap Park (where there is a cool suspension bridge and a playground)- you pass it on the way to our cabin- and tube down to our cabin- about 1 hour trip- no rushing water and safe for most kids- I do recommend water shoes. Bring your own kayaks or canoe and that's fun too. There is a park farther up that provides a longer trip! (East Park)- also minutes drive from our cabin. You will need to go back and get your car or have someone drop you off if someone doesn't go so you'll have a car after you get back to the cabin!! 4-5 miles to downtown Ellijay- breweries- ice cream- wineries- hiking trails- Google Ellijay or Coosawattee River Resort. The community has pools and tennis courts- can use our guest passes if needed. Large trash can outside. Gas grill. Gas fireplace. Fire pits- bring wood! Deck right on water.
