We welcome guests from all walks of life. Our home is nestled among trees and flowers on a 365 ft. waterfront of an all-sports lake. It has a country feel with city conveniences. ROTATING MED STUDENT DISCOUNT. The Red Room is a double size room which has recently been redecorated. One half of the room has a new queen-sized memory foam mattress on a black leather bed frame. The other half has a small dining table and two chairs, a black leather recliner, and a refrigerator. A continental breakfast is provided including yogurt, fruit, and coffee or tea. There is a portable air-conditioner for relief on hot- humid nights. Note: We do have radiant heating which may make some sounds when the hot water in the pipes heats your room. You may relax outside on our deck furniture or on the sunset deck by the water's edge. Swimming and fishing access are available from our lakeshore. The bathroom could be shared with guests from the Green Room if it happens to be booked at the same time. We are happy to answer questions and help you get oriented to our area. We will be around most of the time but will give you privacy if you desire. We have a country feel with close proximity to city conveniences. Campau and Kettle Lakes have 125 acres of all-sports access with fishing for Bluegill, Small and Large Mouth Bass, Cat Fish, Rock Bass, and Walleye. Canoeing/Tubing from 84th Street Dam Great golfing - 5 golf courses within 15 minutes of this location Grand Rapids is just 25 minutes away and has so many great entertainment places available. It has been voted Beer City USA, the best place to retire, Triathalon City USA, and Lonely Planet designated Grand Rapids as the #1 best place to retire. We are happy to make suggestions on places to visit and eat. No public transportation is available. Taxis are available from the Gerald R. Ford airport which is about 10 minutes away.
