Bedroom 2 has a second king bed with plenty of closet space. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed, a desk and plenty of closet space. Bedroom 4 has twin bunks. The den serves dual duty as a 5th bedroom and dedicated work space. Tucked in a corner close to the living room on the main level, the den is convenient yet private. It offers a Queen sleeper sofa bed and roomy table with chairs and window bench. The Nest at Long Lake is situated 7.5 miles west of downtown Traverse City, in a more rural area surrounded by area lakes and farms. The Nest is situated two houses south of a main road and is accessed by a less busy side street which takes you to Long Lake and its local parks and beaches. You are 20 minutes to Good Harbor Beach, on the northern end of the Leelanau Peninsula, so you are very accessible to Sleeping Bear Dunes and all of the Lake Michigan beaches in the area. The house is also very close to local wedding venues, and it's a perfect spot for hosting your wedding party with the natural light and setup for the primary bedroom. You are also less than 20 minutes to Interlochen, so be sure to check out the concert schedule if you are here in the summer months! You will also be just about 30 minutes to Crystal Mountain if you want to enjoy skiing at that resort. There are also other local ski resorts closer to the house. It's a great place for just hanging out and exploring! We can't wait to host you! There are also dedicated driver services for the many wine tours we have in the area, which is probably the best way to enjoy the many beautiful wineries in our area. We have good parking at the house, including space for an RV if needed. We estimate we can park 6 cars without a problem.
