SE Division Hideaway
The Hideaway is a clean, cozy and private, 700+ square foot basement apartment; located in the heart of SE Portland. The space has its own heating/AC system, independent of the rest of the house. An easy walk to SE Division Street provides great coffee, groceries, restaurants, brewpubs, boutique retail, theaters, parks, public transit and more. Street parking is ample. The location is urban & peaceful. This is a strictly non-smoking property. The apartment consists of 3 rooms; a large kitchen/living room area, a roomy & private bedroom and a bathroom. There is a deliciously comfortable queen size bed in the large bedroom. The pullout sofa in the living room makes into a double bed. Couples with children may use the pullout sofa for children 12 and under without including them as "extra persons" on the reservation. In other words, kids stay for free. The apartment is roomy enough to comfortably accommodate 2 couples in 2 beds or one couple with children, using the fold out, in the living room. The unit has a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, mini-refrigerator, and hot water kettle. It is stocked with coffee and tea to get your first morning in the apartment started off right. The bathroom is equipped with body wash, shampoo, hair dryer and yummy bath linens. There is a TV for streaming your favorite apps. The space has a collection of guidebooks on various topics to acquaint you with the countless attractions Portland and it’s outlying areas have to offer. As per City of Portland permit regulations, all guests must provide full names, address and license plate numbers (if driving) upon arrival. Taller guests should be aware that the ceiling is 6 feet 8 inches. The apartment has its’ own private entrance that is accessed by a key code; guests may come and go freely at all hours. The apartment is very private therefore interaction with your host is limited to whatever you feel your need is. The Clinton/Division neighborhood is truly the best that Portland has to offer. Beyond being a short walk to Clinton and Division streets the apartment is within walking/biking distance to the Tillikum walking bridge which spans the Willamette river, the Eastside Esplanade, Laurelhurst and Mt. Tabor Parks, OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science & Industry), downtown, and an endless variety of other attractions. There is frequent bus transit on both SE 26th and Division streets with service to the inner city and the surrounding neighborhoods. View the local transit website "Trimet" for ease of navigating the city. The apartment is very close to multiple bus lines and is within 6 blocks of a bus that heads right into the heart of downtown. To easily access a rental bicycle, for enjoying Portland's bike friendly streets and paths, you will find several Biketown rental stations located within walking distance of the apartment . If you have a car, there is always plenty of on-street parking. Uber, Lyft and other taxi services are readily available.
