Our house is the perfect getaway for a family, group of friends or a couple. The lake and gardens around the house provide the quiet and peace of a retreat place, away form the busyness and distractions of the city. It's a very pretty drive to Columbia, MO (about 30 minutes), and 20 minutes to Rocheport, a very cute historical town by the Missouri River. A beautiful attraction that is close to our property is the Warm Springs Ranch. The Clydesdale breeding farm. This is a great place to visit. The house is a spacious cottage with open space in the living room and cozy settings in the bedrooms. The main bathroom has a washer and dryer. The kitchen has a stove and oven, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, fridge and freezer, sink, flatware and dinnerware, and basic kitchen utensils (pots and pans). The lake is perfect for fishing, we have beautiful garden walkways and sitting areas. There is a fireplace outside as well as an observation deck from which you can see the whole property. It’s the perfect place for stargazing. We have a few goats and the neighbors have friendly dogs. The whole house is a duplex there is no shared space. It’s two houses under one roof. ******************************* Arbnb cleaning protocol Our guest safety is our highest priority. We as super hosts are adamant about following Airbnb’s high standards for enhanced cleaning. As well our cleaning personnel are trained to follow Airbnb‘s procedures for enhanced cleaning. The cleaning procedure is as follows: - Our personal wear masks and gloves. - We use disinfectant to wipe down high touch areas such as door knobs, electronics, kitchen cabinet handles, refrigerator, bathroom faucets etc… - All bedding is washed and sanitized. - All bathrooms, shower and kitchen surfaces are cleaned and sanitized. - All dishes and cutlery are washed and sanitized. - All carpets are vacuumed and sprayed with a sanitizer afterwards. All hardwood surface floors are wet mopped with sanitizer. Products we use: - Lysol disinfectant wipes - Lysol all purpose cleaner - Murphy’s oil floor cleaner - Lysol disinfectant spray - Lysol toilet cleaner - Windex window cleaner We are here if you need help, otherwise you have your privacy. Our house is in a rural area and perfect for a calm and quiet retreat. It takes about 12 minutes to get to the highway which is 16 miles from Columbia. The next super Walmart is 20 min away in Booneville, a Dollar General only 6 miles away in Prairie home. Being out in the country, it's best to have a vehicle to get around in. The guests have access to the property and lake. (make sure to bring good shoes and life vests .) Swimming and walking on the property is at your own risk. since we are in the countryside, we do have wildlife surrounding the area, please be aware of it.
